DESIGN HELP FOR DIY'S

For the Do-it-yourselfer in you, anywhere on the globe.

WE WORK WITH YOUR BUDGET

Knowing your total budget for this project lets us give you the option that best matches your budget.

Your estimate is divided into two parts:

  • Design fees

  • Labor and materials

Request estimate

  1. You send a preliminary picture of the piece that you want to change

  2. A brief explanation of your hope for the piece

  3. Your budget for the whole project

Please, provide this information on the estimate form.

You will receive a free estimate in 3-5 business days based on these guidelines determined by your budget:

  • SMALL PROJECT: Slight modification, usually in hardware and/or finish

  • MEDIUM PROJECT: Changes in hardware, legs, top, and/or doors, upholstery

  • LARGE PROJECT: Combination of some of the above elements, repurposing, structural modification

Approve estimate

You accept the estimate by making full payment online for design fees only. Labor and materials are due when your furniture is restyled and delivered back to you.

Once your payment has been made, you will receive instructions so we can start your project. To help us understand your decor style and preferences, you will need to answer a few questions and take a few pictures of your home. This is a quick process. Since the focus is on the particular piece you want to change, it will only take a few minutes of your time.

You will receive an email confirmation that your pictures and answers to the questions have been received. We follow up with a phone conversation.

Your restyled proposal will be ready in 10-15 business days.

What to expect

Design fees include electronic delivery of the following:

  • A picture of what your piece will look like after it is restyled

  • Specifications of materials (finishes, hardware, etc.)

  • A summary explaining the design decisions

  • A revision of the design if you are not completely satisfied with the initial restyled version.

  • If you you live in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area of North Carolina, we coordinate the entire project with our craftsmen including pickup and delivery of your furniture.
